PV Systems
What is Solar Energy? How does it work?
Solar energy is changing the way we power the world. The use of Photovoltaic materials (photo meaning light, voltaic meaning voltage), can not only save the earth, but can save you money! Photovoltaic (PV) systems convert sunlight into electricity and can power all of your energy needs; including electronic devices, lighting, and all other electricity needs.
They work any time the sun is illuminated, and the more intense the sunlight is, the more electricity is produced. Appliances and other utilities operate on alternating current (AC), supplied by your utility. PV systems, however, produce direct current (DC) electricity while in direct contact with sunlight.
Your system will feed the DC energy produced by the panels to an inverter that converts its into AC power. This electricity is then ready to feed into your main electrical panel(s) and supplies power to your home or business.

Rebates and Incentives
Investing in self-sufficient energy generation is a smart investment in your future! Did you know that the installation of a PV solar system will decrease your electricity cost and can pit money in your pocket? Here’s how: Monthly cost supplement.
Although, your home or commercial property’s electrical needs will primarily be provided by your solar system, your property will still be metered to your utility company. Our goal is to design a system that is cost efficient and allows you to consistently generate enough energy to provide for your entire facility. In the event that your PV solar system produces more electricity than you consume, your electric utility company is required by law to credit your account.
This cost supplement will account for weather that produces a lower amount of electricity or extreme energy use and will offset those utility costs-effectively putting money in your pocket! Federal Tax Credit:Solar projects can qualify you for an up to 30% tax credit from the IRS.
